Before You Start
Because Photoshop is a computer application, the student should have basic computer usage skills. The student should have the ability to perform the following activities in a Windows environment:
-
The ability to use a PC running the XP operating system (sorry, as wonderful as they are, OC does not yet have Macs)\
-
The ability to logon to a system and create or change a password
-
The ability to navigate a file system (e.g. find, open and save files in a designated folder)
-
The ability to create new folders in a designated directory
-
The ability to copy files and folders from one directory to another
-
The ability to rename files and folders
If any of these terms or actions sound unfamiliar, I recommended that you take a beginning computer course before taking Photoshop.
