After you've selected your topic, do some preliminary reading in a general reference source, and check out the bibliography.
Selected Other Reference Databases
Reference books are a GREAT place to start your research. They will give you concise, factual information on a particular topic, without bias.
These print and electronic reference sources are all obtained by a paid subscription by Olympic College Library. None of the electronic sources can be obtained free from Google searches. They are part of what is called the "Invisible Web". They are written, edited, and reviewed by experts and therefore qualify as "scholarly" sources.
You can limit a search in the Library Catalog to just Reference books, on either the Basic Or Advanced search screens.
