Overlooked and underused by most students, government information is relevant to most areas of study, including science, social science and humanities.  Most government agencies are prolific publishers and provide online access to an enormous body of authoritative and scholarly resources.  This guide covers the core finding tools for locating information on a variety of topics.  Tools are arranged by federal, Washington state, and local resources.
