Website if the APSA, "the leading professional organization for the study of political science and serves more than 15,000 members in over 80 countries. With a range of programs and services for individuals, departments and institutions, APSA brings together political scientists from all fields of inquiry, regions, and occupational endeavors within and outside academe in order to expand awareness and understanding of politics."

Local organization whose purpose is to "encourage the study and effective teaching of Political Science in this region; to promote closer relations between academic political scientists and public officials; and to achieve greater utilization of political scientists as experts in the field of government."

This organization's objectives are to promote the advancement of political science through the collaboration of scholars in different parts of the world. It has consultative status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations and with UNESCO.

The Academy of Political Science (APS), founded in 1880, promotes objective, scholarly analyses of political, social, and economic issues. Through its conferences and publications APS provides analysis and insight into both domestic and foreign policy issues.
