Evaluating Print (Non-Web) Sources: About

This guide will discuss strategies for determining and understanding some of the issues that are important to consider when you cite print sources (book, reference book, magazine or journal article) for your annotated bibliography or research project.  "Print" sources may be found physically in a Library or through a subscription database at the Library (ProQuest, Academic Search Premier, EbscoHOST eBooks, etc.).  The items found in the subscription databases were originally printed in paper format but the Library has chosen to subscribe to the electronic format for ease of use.  For this class, you are NOT allowed to find materials directly from the Web.
