What is "LibKey" by Third Iron?

"LibKey" is a robust AI-powered article linking technology being phased in by the OC Library in Winter 2024. It is designed to connect users more reliably and directly to the full text of journal articles that are available in the library's subscription databases, as well as open access articles available on journal publishers' websites or institutional repositories. LibKey enhances linking to articles that have either a DOI or a PMID, therefore it does not work with most newspapers, popular magazines, eBooks, or articles published before 2005, which typically do not have DOIs.
