Essay Two is required to focus specifically on one of the assigned readings:

1. "The Yellow Wallpaper" by Charlotte Perkins Gilman
2. "By The River" by Joyce Carol Oates
3. "The Enormous Radio" by John Cheever

You will be required to identify an interpretation, research that topic, apply the interpretation to the story, cull evidence from the story, and analyze your evidence.
