  • Read/watch material on the next page to learn more about peer-reviewed articles.
  • Search the journals or databases below for peer-reviewed articled.

Please take advantage of the tutorials available from the Library. You will find help for using OneSearch and other databases.

Library Resources


PubChem is a service of the National Library of Medicine.  The database includes contains more than 25 million unique structures.

Use the search box at the left to find your compound in PubChem's Compound Search:

  • double click on the compound name or diagram
  • click on the magnifying glass on the lower left hand corner of the image to enlarge it
  • in the new window, enlarge or reduce your image by scrolling up or down on the plus/minus scroll bar
  • when you like the size, right-click the image, and select "Copy the Image."
  • Open a Word document, and using CTRL V, paste your compound image into the Word Document.
