Zine Collection contains approximately 500 zines which are housed in Archives & Special Collections on the 2nd Floor of Collins Library in Tacoma. The Zines cannot be checked out of the library.

This is a collection of zines that can be found on the Archive. Zines are self-published, non-commercial publications with typically small circulations. They cover a wide range of topics with many focused on politics, art, creative writing, and personal theory.

Provides a free on-line searchable database of the collection with links allowing users to download electronic copies of zines.

This online collection is curated by Dr Jackie Batey and is located within the Illustration BA course at the University of Portsmouth.

A supplement to the physical zine collection. In general, zines are: self-published, self-created, self-distributed, and non-commercial. The independent nature of these publications allows for an unprecedented freedom of expression, and as such, these materials are incredibly valuable primary source materials.
