The services of the Science Lending Library are available free of charge to Olympic College (OC) students requiring economic assistance in obtaining certain science textbooks. Due to a limited number of textbooks, priority is given to students who demonstrate the highest need for assistance and who plan on completing science related degrees, though all OC students enrolled in science courses are allowed to apply (proof of enrollment required upon approval). Please note that applications are NOT processed on a first come/first serve basis.
Applications may be turned into the MESH Division Office in the Science & Technology, room 103. The APPLICATION DEADLINE is the FIRST WEDNESDAY OF EVERY QUARTER by 1:00 p.m.

Textbooks are checked out the first week of the academic quarter and returned by the last day of the quarter. If the textbook is not returned or checked out again by the last day of the quarter, the student’s OC academic transcripts will be withheld until the textbook or cost of the textbook is recovered.
