Google Scholar limits your Google search results to just scholarly literature, including articles, theses, books, abstracts and court opinions, from academic publishers, professional societies, online repositories, universities and other Web sites.
So are there any downsides?

To link Google Scholar to library databases, go to:

Now, when you search Google Scholar, you will see a link to the right of each article that is available either freely on the web, or as a full-text article in one of the library databases.
