Safe Restroom App

Refuge Restrooms is a web application that seeks to provide safe restroom access for transgender, intersex, and gender nonconforming individuals. Search for restrooms by proximity, add new restroom listings, as well as comment and rate existing listings.

We’re trans led and seek to create a community focused not only on finding existing safe restroom access, but also advocating for transgender, intersex, and gender nonconforming people’s safety.“

Gender Spectrum Collection

Gender and Sexual Identity at OC

On this page you will find a small but varied range of resources, from library journals and student support at OC to datasets, history, and glossaries on the web. These will span topics of gender equality, as well as gender and sexual identity. This page offers only a small glimpse into some vast and complex topics and deeper learning is available in our AEGS classes.

You can also check out SAGA- Sexuality and Gender Alliance- which exists to provide a safe space for anyone, student or staff, who is LGBTQA+ and for anyone who is questioning, has questions, or would like to show their support.

Olympic College has not been immune to the global patterns of discrimination on the basis of gender and sexual identity but is committed to ensuring our campus community is a place where students and employees are respected and included. The college offers students and employees paths to report violations of the Nondiscrimination and Title IX, and encourages everyone who encounters discrimination to report it. Addressing where we fall short of our commitments helps make OC the place we all want it to be.
