Celebrating the Power of Pups

During Spring Quarter De-Stress Week, OC’s libraries were filled with wagging tails, lots of fur and lots of smiles, thanks to two incredible nonprofit organizations: Citizen Canine and Assistance Dogs Northwest. We’re thrilled to share just how much we appreciate their willingness to volunteer their time and bring their incredible dogs to our campuses.

For the Johnson Library in Shelton, it was the very first-time therapy dogs were able to visit. Many thanks to Citizen Canine for bringing their wonderful pups. We hope this is just the beginning of a long partnership.

Meanwhile, Assistance Dogs Northwest continues to be a cornerstone of De-Stress Week at our libraries. Their continued presence has been a mainstay of emotional support for our students, staff, and faculty since 2018.

Thank you again for all you do for the community and for Olympic College.
