Silent Reading at the Library, February 14 and 15

by Heather Newcomer on 2024-02-09T10:07:55-08:00 | 0 Comments

OC Libraries invites everyone to join us for a silent reading event at the Haselwood Library (Blg 6)!  Taking themes from Black History Month and Kindness Week, we will provide both print and digital reading selections from our recreational fiction collection, as well as some poetry, and graphic novels. We also have a display in the foyer focus on Black History. Folks are welcome to read anything they like! Buttons will be provided for those who wish to wordlessly identify as participants.

Come by and read a while!

We will conclude our Silent Reading event with an optional closing session, where all are invited to share a favorite passage, thoughts on a book, or book recommendations. Snacks provided!
